Throughout the work, we were pleased at the care that was taken with our 95-year old home, including maintaining the existing hardwood floor. Though we made some significant changes to the layout of the kitchen, they carefully worked with the original mouldings, and we were particularly happy that they were able to maintain the existing moulding for a new, smaller window. They did a great job ensuring that our new kitchen is consistent with the rest of the house, while completely updating it.

CJ's exceeded expectations - the issues were all minor and were communicated to us quickly and addressed immediately. For example, during the demolition phase all debris was piled neatly in a corner and the dirt was neatly swept up. We were also super impressed with their commitment to communication and customer service - the Business Manager sent us frequent emails or texts to let us know the status of our project (e.g., who was coming in, what to expect and timelines). Colin, the owner, is very honest - he told us when something couldn't be done or wouldn't make sense and saved us money on a few things.
Our project was completed just before the holidays and the Business Manager even responded to texts on his holidays and checked-in to make sure everything was working and that we were satisfied. We live in a high-rise condominium apartment and our superintendent told us that CJ's was very easy to deal with and very respectful. The workmanship is also incredible - we have had many people in to see our renovated apartment and they are blown away. Nothing is "good enough" - everything is done as it should be. Really, I can't imagine having a better experience.
